Brian has 25 years’ teaching experience on guitar, bass, music production and live sound. He has taught at Newcastle College, Sunderland College, Gateshead College, and Newcastle University, as well as giving private tuition.

His qualifications include Honours Degree in music and music production and DTLLS and QTS teaching qualifications from Leeds University, and a MMus Post Grad Certificate (Level 7) in music performance and songwriting from University of West London. He teaches various styles of guitar and bass playing from blues to metal to country. 

 

Brian has worked working as a guitarist and bass player in many bands from the UK and internationally since 1988. He has toured in the UK, USA (Los Angeles and Nashville), Europe and Israel and worked as a studio session player for Sony/BMG music working in studios in and around the UK. He’s still playing shows today and also works as a musical director for corporate events.
